The Ghostly Green Hunter

GHOST STATIONS™ Germany ... True Ghost Stories by Bruce Barrymore Halpenny

Many people have reported seeing a mysterious green or greenish light on the old wartime airfields in England; and one such ghostly story is: The Glowing Control Tower in Ghost Stations™ Lincolnshire; but Germany has the mysterious ... ghostly Green Hunter.

When you travel south from Kiel, capital of Schleswig-Holstein in north-eastern Germany, after some 30 kilometres, you come to the little town of Oldenburg/Holstein. A typical German hamlet that has barely changed through the centuries ... a few red brick houses, little or no industry, just the typical hedgerow countryside of the Holstein. It is very pretty.

At Oldenburg, they have rebuilt an early Slaw settlement with adjacent museum facilities that show some grim exhibits, as well as the less grisly ones.

So is it just a sleepy German country area? We shall see. Let us continue our drive in the German countryside; and, as we leave this old town, we head towards the much smaller town of Lehnsahn that is nestled amidst the hedges and the cows, which makes a very peaceful countryside scene.

But is it all that it seems? ... The rest of this story along with other interesting, chilling and thought provoking true stories can be found in the book Ghost Stations™ Germany
