It has been said, or so one young lady who saw it witnessed, that there is the ghost of the wife of King Louis XV, Marie Antoinette, in the garden of the palace of Versailles, in France. Apparently this ghost has been around a bit and at certain times she can be seen painting ... some people have a head for art.

Did you know that it was the superstitious Romans who created the custom of a bride wearing a veil, this was so the evil Spirits couldn't recognize her and whisk her away. This is also why the brides' maids wore similar clothes, to confuse the Spirits even more. Might also confuse the groom!
